Wednesday night is party night for the people of Preston as Spire hold their weekly shindig for adults with learning disabilities at The Kolor Bar in Preston city centre.

The social evening started in February 2011 and has now established itself as one of the most looked forward to events on the learning disability social calendar.

The event is not-for-profit so all money raised is invested into special regular theme nights including rock nights, beach party's and halloween party's.

The Kolor Bar is in a prime location for users of public transport situated just a few hundred yards from Preston Bus Station and train station, a bus stop across the road and a taxi rank outside. For those with cars there is also a free car park behind the pub.

Entry is just £2 (carers go free). There is also a weekly raffle for your chance to win one of five prizes including a bottle of wine.

The bar serves a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well as bar snacks. The Kolor Bar, located on Church Street (PR1 3BU), is also wheelchair accessible with disabled toilet facilities.

We recommend that you arrive for 7pm if you or the person you support require a low seat as these are limited and do get taken quickly.
